Where do you get the books you review?
The large portion of books reviewed I bought myself. Others are gifts from family members, as that is all I ask for. It is only a problem if you think it is a problem. Personally, I think it makes me easy to shop for. There are also, books I loan out from the local library.
Do you receive Advanced Reading Copies (ARCs) to review?
Currently, I do not. I am not against receiving ARCs, just haven’t been that lucky yet.
Do you accept review requests?
The answer is yes and no. I will consider requests based on the specific book and my available time. Please view other book reviews posted before asking. If the book isn’t in a similar genre, it most likely is not one I would enjoy reading. When requesting a review please give a brief summary of the book, so that I can make a better judgment if it sounds like a book I would be interested in reading.
Policies:
This area will be continually updated with new policies as needed. If there are any questions about specific policies that are not currently addressed please ask.
Currently, all books that are reviewed are bought by myself, given to me as a gift by family members, or from the local library. I have not received any Advanced Reading Copies (ARCs) to review. I am not opposed to getting ARCs to review, but at this point reviewing is still on my dime. If any book reviewed is an ARC, it will be mentioned in the book review.
Reviews are my personal opinions and are by no means paid for by authors, or publishers. Any requests for reviews by either will be considered on the book and time availability, with the understanding that the book is a genre I am interested in reading and that reviews given will be my honest opinion of the book be it good or bad.
